Every quarter has one month that outsells the rest. Without knowing which one it is, you risk ordering stock too late and missing the rush, tying up cash in stock that arrives too early, or scheduling staff at the wrong time.

What we deliver

We pinpoint which of the next 3 calendar months is most likely to be your peak, using the seasonal pattern drawn from your own sales history across all the years you provide. You receive this before the quarter starts, giving you time to act rather than react.

Defining the next quarter

The next quarter means the 3 calendar months immediately following the last date in your data. For example, if your records end in September, the quarter we forecast is October, November and December; if they end in March, it is April, May and June. We compare each of those 3 months against its own history to find the likely peak.

Our process

  • Clean and check your sales history for accuracy
  • Work out your seasonal pattern using every year of data supplied
  • Determine the busiest of the 3 upcoming months
  • Provide 1 planning recommendation tied to that month

What you receive

  • Your forecasted busiest month for the coming quarter
  • A confidence level of high, medium or low
  • 1 planning recommendation
  • A 1-page PDF report

How much history to send

We ask for a minimum of 12 months of sales data, as a full year is needed to spot your peak reliably. Sending 12 to 23 months gives basic peak detection, while 24 months or more sharpens the result further. Recent months show where your business stands now, and older months reveal seasonal behaviour, so we weigh both, giving more weight to recent activity.

What we need from you

  • Sales data in Excel or CSV format
  • At least 12 months of history
  • Columns for date and sales amount as a minimum
  • Data at the level of individual sales or days, not already totalled

Sending your data

Attach your file directly through chat where possible. If the file is too large, upload it to a shared drive link with editor access for download only; we will not alter your file.

Delivery

Completed within 2 business days of receiving your brief and data.
