You already have the design and the backend; what's missing is the interface people actually use. I take your Figma screens and turn them into a React or Next.js front end written in TypeScript, responsive across phone and desktop sizes, and wired to your API so that loading, empty and error states are all handled properly.
When the design is finished and the API is live or close to it, the missing piece is usually the screens themselves. I build that front end alone, leaving your backend, authentication provider and hosting untouched, and deliver the code straight into your repository. Should anything not match what we agreed, I correct it free of charge for 14 days after handover.
The Starter tier delivers a single screen from your Figma file, responsive and typed, pulling its data from your API or from a stand-in until the real endpoint is ready. The Standard tier extends this to as many as five screens connected to your API, complete with loading, empty and error states plus validated forms. The Advanced tier stretches to twelve screens and adds login screens matched to your authentication provider, components shared across the app, and tests covering the core flows.
The Figma file sets the rules: spacing, type scale and colour all come from it. If a screen lacks a mobile layout, I sketch one for your approval rather than guess at it. Next.js with the App Router is my usual choice; plain React built with Vite suits projects that don't need server rendering. Styling runs through Tailwind CSS or CSS Modules, matching whatever your project already uses.
Before release, I test in Chrome, Firefox and Edge on desktop, and in Chrome on an actual Android device. Two public samples of past front-end work sit in my portfolio: a Next.js storefront with filtering, cart and checkout, and a bilingual site of my own.
Everything happens in writing, with no calls needed. Screens and the endpoints behind them are agreed before coding starts, a live preview tracks progress, and a short update lands in chat on every working day.
1. Mapping the screens - working through your Figma file and API documentation to list every screen, its states and the endpoints it needs, confirmed by you before anything is built.
2. Foundations - setting up the project or working inside your existing repository, pulling in colours and type from Figma, and building the shared layout and components.
3. Building and connecting - each screen is matched to the design and linked to your API, covering loading, empty and error states, with a mock standing in for any endpoint not yet ready.
4. Feedback round - you review the preview link and send one consolidated list of changes, which I apply before sharing the link again.
5. Handover - the finished code goes into your repository along with a short guide to the structure and how to run it, plus, on the Advanced tier, tests you can run before each release.
Your order opens its own thread here the moment it is paid, and everything about that order - questions, changes and the final report - happens in it.
Yes. For every screen I sketch or describe the mobile layout before building it, so you sign it off in advance rather than being surprised later.
Yes. I work within whatever folder structure, naming conventions and styling your project already uses, so the new code blends in and stays consistent for whoever picks it up next.
I match the file closely for spacing, sizing and colour. Where real data clashes with the mockup, such as a name running longer than expected, I point it out and suggest a fix instead of letting the layout break.
This service covers the front end only. Backend work in Node.js with Express or NestJS is handled separately; order both together and I can quote them as one project.
