WooCommerce store setup and fix: checkout, payments, shipping and products

Website development · delivered in 2-10 days

Checkout failures, a payment method that has vanished, shipping costs that calculate wrongly, or a store that was never finished - these are the problems we sort out in WooCommerce. Every change we make is checked with a real test order before it reaches your customers.

  • Starter: one WooCommerce issue resolved and confirmed with a test order, working from a backup or staging copy first, with 1 revision included.
  • Standard: up to 3 issues fixed, or full configuration of payments, shipping and tax rules, verified with test orders, backup or staging copy taken beforehand, 2 revisions included.
  • Advanced: up to 6 changes, including bespoke product or checkout fields, built from a backup or staging copy first, with 3 revisions included.

This service is built for WordPress and WooCommerce store owners whose shop handles payments, or is meant to. Recurring issues usually cluster around checkout, payment gateways, shipping and tax rules, product variations, and order confirmation emails.

Our entry tier resolves a single fault, whether that is a checkout breaking, a payment option disappearing, shipping being miscalculated, or a product page malfunctioning. The mid tier covers up to three such faults, or configures payments, shipping zones and tax settings from scratch for a store not yet trading, confirming the entire order journey with test orders. The top tier allows for up to six adjustments and can introduce custom fields on products or at checkout, amend order emails, or add light bespoke functionality, delivered through a child theme or standalone plugin so future updates do not overwrite it.

Where a payment provider offers its own WooCommerce plugin, we connect through it and confirm everything in sandbox or test mode first. Once testing passes, you link your live account or supply your live keys yourself, so those credentials never pass through us.

Before any work touches a live site, we take a backup or move to a staging copy, and we make sure orders already placed remain untouched. For 14 days following delivery, we correct anything that does not match what was agreed, at no extra cost.

This does not cover Shopify migrations, complete store design, or manually entering an entire product catalogue.

You receive a written account of everything done: what caused each issue, what was altered, and the test orders used to confirm the fix.

How we work through it

First, we ask for administrator and hosting access, and take a backup or staging copy before touching anything. Next, we recreate the fault by placing test orders as a customer would, tracing where cart, checkout, payment, stock or emails break down. Then the fix or missing setup is applied, with any custom code kept in a child theme or small plugin rather than WooCommerce's own files. Every change is then proven with a test order on the affected path, using the gateway's test mode for payments. Finally, we report what was wrong, what we changed, the test orders run, and anything worth watching going forward.

You will need to provide the domain this order concerns and a brief describing what you need done.

What happens after you buy

Your order opens its own thread here the moment it is paid, and everything about that order - questions, changes and the final report - happens in it.

Questions people ask

Do you need access to my payment provider account?

No. We test payments using the provider's sandbox or test mode, with credentials either of us can set up. Once everything checks out, you connect your live account or paste in your live keys yourself, and we give you written instructions on exactly where.

Will my current orders be affected?

We take a backup first and steer clear of changes that could disrupt orders already placed. If a live-site change is unavoidable, we let you know beforehand and arrange a quiet window for your store within our working hours, 10:00-20:00 Almaty time (UTC+5).

Can you move my store from Shopify to WooCommerce?

That is outside this service, which covers WooCommerce stores that already exist or are being configured for the first time.

Do you upload products?

We configure products and variations to the extent the fix or setup requires. Manually loading an entire catalogue is data entry work and falls outside this service.
