Knowledgebase: Can I Add A Subdomain?

Want to create a subdomain? Here we will go through step by step how to add subdomains at PBN.LTD!

Short version: yes, you absolutely can — it just works a little differently to standard hosting. Here’s everything you need to know!

🚀 How Subdomains Work at PBN.LTD

PBN.LTD’s standard hosting doesn’t support direct subdomain creation. Instead, we offer subdomains through our premium “money site” hosting platform, NT Cloud — and the best part is there’s no extra cost involved at all. Your billing stays with PBN.LTD exactly as it is now.

What that means for you:

  • No extra cost — your existing PBN.LTD subscription covers it.
  • Same billing — everything still runs through your PBN.LTD account, no changes to your subscription.
  • Full subdomain support — create as many as you need (e.g. blog.domain.com, store.domain.com) inside the NT Cloud dashboard.

⚠️ Before We Can Open Up Your Subdomain Package — PLEASE READ!

There are two things you MUST do on your side before we can open up the subdomain package on NT Cloud. If either of these is missed, we won’t be able to proceed, so please double check both!

1️⃣ The root domain MUST be added into your PBN.LTD account

Just add the domain in your PBN.LTD dashboard like you normally would. A couple of important notes:

  • You do NOT need to update your nameservers at your registrar for this step.
  • You can completely ignore the nameservers shown in the PBN.LTD dashboard — they are not relevant for the subdomain process.

2️⃣ The “Create SMTP server” box MUST be ticked when adding the domain

This one is really important! When you’re adding the domain into PBN.LTD, make sure the “Create SMTP server” tickbox is selected.

  • If this isn’t ticked, we cannot open the subdomain package for you on NT Cloud.
  • If you’ve already added the domain without ticking it — no stress! Just remove the domain from PBN.LTD and re-add it with the box ticked.

📬 How to Request Subdomain Support

Once you’ve done the two steps above, getting your subdomain package opened is dead easy:

  1. Submit a support ticket letting us know you’re ready.
  2. Tell us which domain you want subdomains enabled on.
  3. Let us know if you’d like us to take a fresh backup beforehand — or make sure you have a local backup ready, just in case.

That’s it! We’ll handle the transition for you and let you know when it’s time to update your nameservers etc.

Once we’ve opened up the subdomain package, you’ll need to know how to access your new dashboard to actually create your subdomains. For that, head over to our other guide: ‘How To Access My New Dashboard For Subdomain Creation?’ here in the knowledgebase.

Any questions at all, just open a ticket — we’re happy to help!
