Knowledgebase: Which CDN Should I Use?

Learn about our fully integrated CDN providers and which one is best for personal requirements.

PBN LTD is fully integrated with some of the largest and most trusted CDN providers in the world. Each CDN we support is expertly configured to eliminate footprints and keep your PBN network secure, anonymous, and cloud-based.

Choosing the right CDN depends on your specific needs—whether that’s SSL support, use of www., or mimicking a legacy domain setup. Below is a breakdown of the available CDN options and when to use them.

1️⃣ Cloudflare – The Global Leader

Cloudflare is the largest CDN provider in the world and by far the most popular choice among PBN LTD users.

Key Benefits:

  • Supports both SSL and non-SSL configurations

  • Works with www. or non-www (or both)

  • Provides industry-leading DDoS protection

  • Uses randomized nameservers, unique to each domain

Why use Cloudflare?
If you're hosting a well-ranked PBN site and expect attention (or even potential DDoS attacks), Cloudflare offers the most advanced protection. It actively mitigates attacks before they reach your server. This makes it an excellent choice for high-value, modern, or security-sensitive sites.

2️⃣ BunnyCDN – Performance + Diversity

BunnyCDN is another strong choice for users seeking speed, stealth, and a reliable alternative to Cloudflare.

Key Benefits:

  • Supports SSL

  • Works with www. or non-www

  • Uses nameservers from providers like Azure and ClouDNS

Why use BunnyCDN?
BunnyCDN offers a great balance between performance and diversity. It’s less common than Cloudflare but still highly capable. If you're looking for a fast CDN that avoids mainstream footprints while maintaining flexible domain setup options, Bunny is a great pick.

3️⃣ KeyCDN – Great for www. Use Cases (⚠️ Important Limitations)

KeyCDN runs on Amazon’s global CDN infrastructure and is well-suited for users who are committed to using www. subdomains.

Key Benefits:

  • Supports SSL

  • Designed specifically for www. versions only

  • Uses variable nameservers from providers like Azure and ClouDNS

⚠️ Important Notice About KeyCDN:
KeyCDN only allows access to the exact version of the domain you configure.
For example, if you set up https://www.example.com, all other formats (like example.com, http://example.com, etc.) will be blocked, not redirected. This behavior is by design and cannot be changed.

Why use KeyCDN?
Choose KeyCDN if you want to enforce strict access to a www. version only and you're okay with other variants being inaccessible. If you prefer automatic redirects for all domain versions, we do not recommend using KeyCDN.

4️⃣ CDN77 – Ideal for Legacy or Wayback Builds

CDN77 is best for users who want to restore old or archived websites exactly as they were, especially those pulled from the Wayback Machine.

Key Benefits:

  • Supports www. usage

  • Does not support SSL

  • Maintains a configuration suitable for older site structures

  • Avoids footprints despite lacking modern SSL support

Why use CDN77?
CDN77 is a strong choice for replicating historical setups, where exact configurations are important. It’s particularly useful when SSL isn’t required or when restoring an expired domain from archive.org.
