Knowledgebase: What are your Nameservers?

What are your name-servers and where can I find them?

Once you’ve added a new domain to your dashboard and the build process has completed, the domain’s status will change to “Waiting DNS update.” This means it's time to point your domain to the correct nameservers.

🖥️ Where to Find Your Nameservers
You’ll find the exact nameservers listed directly beneath the domain name in the main dashboard view. These are specific to that domain and may differ from others you’ve added.

🧠 Why Are They Different?
We don’t use one universal set of nameservers like many traditional hosting services. Instead, we generate unique nameserver combinations for each domain. This helps reduce detectable patterns and enhances privacy and scalability.
Your nameservers are tailored based on the CDN and DNS services selected during setup.

📌 What You Need to Do

  • Log into your domain registrar (e.g., Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare, etc.).

  • Replace the existing nameservers with the exact ones shown in your dashboard.

  • Save your changes and allow time for DNS propagation (can take anywhere from a few minutes up to 24–48 hours depending on your registrar).

🚨 Common Issues to Avoid

  • Copy-pasting from another domain’s nameservers – Each domain has its own assigned values.

  • Forgetting to remove old nameservers – Always replace them fully.

  • DNS not resolving after 24–48 hours? Double-check that the values you entered match exactly and that the status in your dashboard hasn’t changed.

🔄 Once DNS is Updated
After your nameservers are correctly updated and DNS propagation begins, the domain status will automatically progress beyond “Waiting DNS update.”

  • First, it will move to “Activating CDN” – indicating that the system has started processing your DNS changes.

  • Once everything is fully resolved and operational, the status will change to “OK.”

✅ When you see the domain in the “OK” state within the dashboard, that means your DNS has fully propagated and the domain is now live and active.
